In collaboration with the Maryland Department of Health (MDH), The Hilltop Institute has developed and released the Maryland Medicaid DataPort, a series of interactive Tableau® dashboards that display data from various Maryland Medicaid programs.
Through this interactive DataPort, users can configure custom reports on demographics, service utilization, and coverage. MDH and Hilltop developed the DataPort to promote data-driven decision making and facilitate the analysis of Medicaid data.
Currently, there are five dashboards: Medicaid Enrollment, Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Enrollment, LTSS Services, Community First Choice (CFC) Services, and Nursing Facilities. Additional dashboards are under development. The data displayed go back several years and are updated monthly. The DataPort also includes a resources module with general Medicaid definitions as well as DataPort-specific information.
