Health Care Without Harm has just released the findings from their comprehensive study of hospital community benefit practices that promote healthy food access and healthy eating to address diet-related health conditions. Titled Community Benefit and Healthy Food: A National Assessment and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the study explores opportunities and challenges for greater community benefit investment in healthy food access.
Hilltop Executive Director Cynthia Woodcock, representing Hilltop’s Hospital Community Benefit Program, was an advisor to the project.
