John Malloch
Senior Programmer

John Malloch is a Senior Programmer at The Hilltop Institute, leading the web application development team. Mr. Malloch has expertise in health care databases, systems analysis and design, data analysis, computer programming, geographical information systems (GIS) and business intelligence systems (BI). He designed and developed the interactive, web-based Medicaid Decision Support System (DSS) for the use of Maryland's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and their associates. In addition to standard reporting and trend analysis, Mr. Malloch developed ad hoc reporting capabilities on the DSS, which allows instant access to current health care databases. Currently he is implementing web-based Business Intelligence systems and geographical data presentations for use by our in-house personnel and outside clients.

Mr. Malloch has been at The Hilltop Institute since 1997. He has over 20 years of experience with information systems application development and has published papers and given presentations for various software user groups over the years.

Mr. Malloch has a master’s degree in information systems management.
